The State of California

According to a newsletter I received recently from "Focus on the Family Action", There is a bill called SB 54. It would require California to validate out-of-state same-sex marriages performed before the passage of Proposition 8. In this way, it would undermine the will of California voters--who defended one-man, one-woman marriage by passing Proposition 8--and set up a court challenge to the proposition.

Vermont- The Newest Victim

I just read on the news that the State of Vermont started performing weddings between same sex people. With the decline of morality in America, I think that it is sad that this lower morality which matches what has happened in many great civilizations, is a sure fire indicator of a very hard fall. Homosexuality is no different than pedophilia.
If the definition for this "lifestyle" is the fact that the individuals who practice this lifestyle are in love. Then shouldn't pedophiles be allowed to promote their lifestyle? How about rapists? What do you think?

Gay Rights

Just because you are Gay does that give you a special privilege? The United States government has in the last several years been doing away with giving special privileges to any select group of people. Those who say they are "Gay" should not be requesting "Special Privileges". There has never been a time in history when Homosexuality has been an approved lifestyle.

"Human" Rights

To a certain degree homosexuality can be seen similarly as slavery. Except that the slavery is to each individual homosexual. You are a slave to your own desire which can be a very powerful foe. Your position as a slave to your desire is no different than an individual who is an alcoholic. You can be free of your desire and live a life that has purpose and meaning.

DNA

There has been a study that I read that supported the fact that being gay is not built into your genes. I wonder why there are so many people who believe they are based on this belief?

Is it By Birth?

I don't know if anyone would see what I am about to say as revolutionary. I firmly believe that there are people that are born "Gay". Just that same as people who are born with crooked teeth or ADHD.

Argument

There has been a lot of hype in the media with regard to the issues we face as a nation. Yes we have taken sides in the debate over "Same Sex Marriage", I haven't heard from the church how it should deal with this issue effectively. How many in the world can say that they have had a strong attraction towards the same sex in a sexual manner for a major part of their lives? Can the church finally agree that these individuals are in need of understanding?

Homo Born

This is my blog to discuss the issue of being born "homosexual". I will bring things to this site that will reflect what is stated in the world and in the church. If you have a particular point of view that you wish to express, I am all ears.
